Smelling the roses...

I  took some time out last week. My husband came along (and our dog) which was the best thing ever, of course. Quality time!
Exploring our neck of the woods here along the coast line and the Rockies has once again made me realize how gigantic this country is. It always blows me 98805-984645-thumbnail.jpg
click to enlargeaway in awe but also sometimes makes me sad because it makes it so much more difficult to travel, not just within Canada (what would I give to visit the
East Coast) but also to Europe, no hopping around from country to country.
For now though this did the trick (see how long it will last, hehe). Ommmmm...

Oh, but your neck of the woods is soooooo beautiful Tine. BC, both along the coast and in the Kooteneys is one of my favourite places in the world.

Me living in Europe would love to visit Canada and enjoy it's beautiful nature!! But I can't right now so I had to be a cityhopper this vacation. I 'hopped' to Hamburg for the first time in my life and had a great time :) Sometimes the things you enjoy the most are very nearby. Enjoy your part of the world, Tine!

Tine, your neck of the woods looks like heaven. So glad you were able to go exploring with darling dog in tow. Somehow taking the dog along on a nature ramble makes it even more special.

Hey Tine! Long time no type! :)

We are just finally starting to get settled in our new place outside of Ottawa and I feel like I am just coming down from crazy busy hectic schedule of work, traveling and setting up house. But I am still months away from relaxing!

How are you? What is up? I am still working but loving this area of the world SO much. We moved 2 streets over from my sister which is just amazing and so nice after being away for so long.

Anyway, better get back to work, just thought I would check in. Going to try to join back in for SF. :)

It looks like a fantastic day - the scenery is beautiful! I can understand what you mean about getting to other places - in the UK it's easier but usually still involves a plane journey - but you can get to different places for the weekend quite easily!!
