SF: STORAGE/CONTAINERS

scanStudioSketch_cl3.jpg

I felt like making a little sketch of my containers. Since I don't have the luxury of my own studio anymore but have a corner of our bedroom storing my supplies has become a challenge. In a way it is a good thing because not too much stuff can accumulate. So I generally try to store my things in boxes like the blue 98805-951309-thumbnail.jpg

storage box you see in the sketch below, other smaller containers find themselves on my bookshelves and wardrobe shelf. Under my bed I store canvasses and books, larger papers, things that I don't usually use every day. I generally try to keep things tidy. My desk is another story altogether...when I'm working on projects things are just flying around on it and I put them away when a project is finished. That is always a nice moment when the desk is all clear and a new project can be started.

This was such a fast week somehow! Time is just flying these days. This morning hubby said to me that he wanted to go see the new Bourne movie tonight and I wondered with it being a Thursday night but thought ok, why not. Then Kim emailed me with her entry and  it slowly dawned on me that it was Friday already!! Makes more sense in retrospect to go see a movie on a Friday night when one has Saturday off. I think my Thursday got all consumed by my sketch I made yesterday, how very bizarre, I'm having a great laugh about it. I best hurry because at this speed 70 is probably just around the corner  ;-)

Tine, I love your sketch especially the ellie and curious birds. You really should do more of them. They are such fun!

I'm so happy you sketched - wish I could :-). Even though your space is tiny, you have made it your own - I love the elephant, birds and roses.

Oh what a lovely way to share your take on the topic! I love the way you draw and use color. I always reach for my camera without hesitation for these topics...I think I'd like to try this approach sometime.

I want to see Bourne Ultimatum too! Did you see Matt Damon on Jon Stewart (last night or night before)? He's very funny!

Take care...
Love your drawings!!

I really like the distressed look of your sketch, and admire how you laid your colors down loosely. Even your handwriting looks good! A + :)
How yeah that looks like fun! Love your storage sketching!
