SF: STUDIO SIDEKICK(S)

98805-391291-thumbnail.jpg My little birds in this more fluffy version are the octopus' sidekicks it seems (click on images to enlarge). Oh how I wished to jump right in with them because it is so hot here with the second heat wave of the year arriving today lasting over the weekend. No fun at all.

This is the last painting I finished in my studio before I packed things up. Little by little I am getting there and soon the room will be completely empty. I am sentimental about it. I had a great time and am grateful to have had my own studio! The new studio I will share with my husband and when baby time comes one day it will be 98805-400863-thumbnail.jpg turned into the  nursery. Usually my sidekicks are my cat and my dog. They don't like this heat either and are snoozing away on the floor, hehe.

Soon in late August the move will be over finally and the dust will slowly settle. I can't wait for it! My little birds will stay with me ;-)

ADORABLE! My daughter is standing here (one of her absolute FAVOURITE things are octopus's and YELLOW birds so this painting really makes her happy! She hasn't let me close the window for 20 minutes now!! It's lovely and she's telling me a story about it. What a lovely gift you gave today! A little girl is absolutely delighted with your sweet sidekicks! She thinks that the octopus has stopped to say hello to the birds and ask them for directions to the party. The heart is a present for the party. She says that everyone is invited and that there will be yellow cake and cookies and some yummy juice too. She has an entire story for this piece!

Oh how fun! I would love to jump in there too! It's soooo hoooootttttttt here in Germany! I don't know what heat wave it is but is sure here for three weeks now! Love your octopus and the birdies! My parents dog is all day laying in the hallway or garage to find some cool floor!
Last work in your gallery, he? I share right now the room with my husband and honestly it's my room, I already crowed his desk with my stuff, plus the computer is on his, so I have an excuse, but sometimes I have to free it from 'me', that he can have his space again! ;)

Love this painting! Its very happy with wonderful composition! Love the idea of putting an octopus and the birds together - such fun!

Isn't moving a real pain in the @$$! Just turns things upside down! I really admired Kerri when she did her "House" book in the middle of moving! All I can think about is "the move". Take care and hope the dust settles soon!!
